All Summer Long

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all having a good golfing season so far.
I've been playing so much this year that I haven't had time for anything else. Since my last blog I've played every week but the results haven't been going my way.
I've got a new coach since I spoke to you last. His name is Jamie Gough and he is from South Africa. He also coaches David Howell and James Kingston. I've been working with him since Wentworth and I feel we've been doing some great work and working hard - just the results aren't showing yet but they will soon.
The last few weeks I've been seeing some great shots coming back into my game so I'm very excited about the last part of the season.
On a more personal note, I've been enjoying my time at home this week whilst The Open has been on. I've been spending plenty of time with my wife Denise and daughter Lucy. I've been working in the gym and practicing a lot. I spent a bit of time flying seaplanes last week at Loch Lomond. A good friend of mine David West owns Loch Lomond Seaplanes and lets me go flying whenever I'm there. It was great to spend a bit of time flying and I took my mum up on one trip and she loved it.
I have a few golf days planned in the next month or so with my sponsors Air Energi and Halliwell Jones BMW. I'm still driving my M3. I'm on my fourth one now. I think it's one of the best cars in the BMW range. This one has a 7 speed Paddle shift gearbox which is good fun driving around the country roads close to where we live.
Please don't forget to register to my website and then you can ask me anything you like on the Q & A page.
Until next time, Swing easy, Simon.
